Not strictly true. It's perfectly feasible to unlock marauder by level 14 on normal/adventure. Exploit Illuminate+shadowstrike+crystal's weaknesses in Scintillating Caves.

Could do the same thing with poisons, iirc, at around the same level. Use a two-hand weapon and a good chunk of weapon mastery, stack a few poisons up, hit something with that one talent that does extra damage based on number of poisons applied. Venomous strike, now that I checkPretty sure it was at least doable sub 20, in any case.

... it won't be in 1.5, though, heh. Not the same way, anyway. Not going to be a spike talent like venomous strike anymore, ehehe.
