Demonic Orb of Many Ways - Stuck in the Fearscape

It has been a long time since I played and I chose to go a different route with Tannin and was given the Demonic Orb of Many ways. I was transported to the Fearscape, beat the boss and escaped. Since I was not paying any attention I assumed it was a triggered event and stupidly tried it again. I now appear to be stuck in the Fearscape. The rod of recall does not work nor does the Orb.

Is this the end or is there a way out?

i am fairly certain i did that once too, and i was able to comeback. even if finding the portal was a pain in the ass.

pretty sure you don't just "orb out", the boss should have dropped a porta, just like the AB in the arena does, or the temporal bosses of the rift. have you checked for that?

I beat the boss and used the portal out the first time. I was stupid and clicked on it a second time so no portal and no boss.

The portal is still there IIRC but you can't autoexplore to it.
