How often is the game updated with bugfixes?
Hi all, I bought ToME from GOG and I saw that on the bugfixes thread sometimes darkgod would say he fixed an issue or bug. Does this mean that the GOG version of the game is slightly out of date? How are the fixes applied? Thanks for your help!

No when I say fixed I mean "fixed for the next version". And I try to publish updates on all platforms at the same time (GOG can take a day or two because it requires manual processing on their side)

I would recommend playing it on Steam for the cloud saves, so if your hard drive crashes, computer dies for some other reason, then your saves are on the cloud and you won't lose everything.
Otherwise back them up regularly. Althought transplanting a save seems to invalidate that character, at least you can still play it.
