Keybinds and acronyms

#1 Post by Shaidyn »

Does anyone have a list of the keybind acronyms? Some of them I can get, but a loooot of them make no sense to me. For example, I thought Sr would be "Shift + r", but no, SR is shift + r, so I have no idea what Sr is. Or AW? CQ? Cm?

Anywho, if such a list exists, please point me to it. :)

i took a look at key binds... i can't find SR ANYWHERE. only Sr.
so, i have to ask, on what system are you playing?

from what i noticed it goes like this

a big letter is a hard key (the obvious)
-S=shift
-A=alt
-C=ctrl

small letter is an actuall leter
-r=r
-w=w
etc

a digit is a digit from the row just below the F-digits

k+digit is a keypad digit, at the rightmost of the keyboard.

there is no SR, there is no place for big R. how did you get it?!

I'm playing on a 64 bit machine with Windows 7 installed.

Thanks for the definitions of the prefix keys. I've got those figured out, but something like SCL? I suppose that's shift caps lock?

You'll notice that in my screenshot, "Show message log" has a keybind of 'h'. If I click on that and type the 'h' key on my keyboard, it is replaced with 'H'. I don't have caps lock toggled, so there seems to be some default setting that I got lower case keys in my keybinds, but it prefers the upper case when entered by the user. Oddness.

p.s. I've been posting a LOT recently, mostly trying to figure out quirks of the UI and mechanics, and you've been my first responder a lot, Radon. Thanks for all the help.
