How could I stack the most 'when hit' damage possible?

#1 Post by Shaidyn »

I have a very silly and likely futile idea for a character that produces incredible amounts of damage when struck in combat. Basically a walking reactive-damage tank. I'm curious if y'all have any idea on which combination of talents would produce the most damage when struck.

Thanks!

All I can think of ATM are Icy Skin from the Wyrmic Ice tree and the two brawler counter attacks, one being in Cunning/Tactical and the other being in the same tree as combination kick. Additionally you could try investing into the Rot tree, The Scoundrel tree's misdirection, Dream Forge, grabbing a TK weapon, that one psyshot tree that gives you arms, Feedback w/ psionic/discharge, oh and phantasmal shield. Forgot about that one.

Also Acidic Skin in Oozemancer's Slime tree.

Also anything in either the Chants or Hymns trees.

Also Displacement Shield in the Conveyance tree.

Also armor tinkers.

Problem with this, is a lot of things that have that kind of effect are only on melee hits, so you'd have trouble against non melee enemies.

Abyssal Shield from Doombringer gives a huge amount of "damage when hit" and is actually a good skill.

My PM build has 8 K reflection shields and also Webs of Fate which reflects attacks. If you want to win normal with just pressing five, it probably doesn't get much better than that. Check it out in the chronomancer section.
