(and no, I'm not asking how long one DGTU is - each time this question is asked, the DGTU becomes two weeks longer ;) )

As for Shockbolt - I've chatted with him once or twice on tome irc channel some years before and that was it as my personal contact with him goes. If you like, you can ask DG, or try the other available public channels:

and the Angband tileset subforum, where there is info on your inquiry (just saw it, when copying the url :))

Looks like a lot of interesting stuff is coming out in 1.5. Looking foward to playing it when it comes out in 5 years :P
