[1.4.8] Bug with demonologist & tinkers

I play Orc campaign, Whitehoof Demonologist.

When I "i"nspect my character, impossible to see/detach tinkers from hat, glove, belt, shooes, back, (quiver).
The special place for tinkers is not here.
But special place for demons is here (rings, weapon, shield)

Obviously their's a problem with demons & tinkers.

If I right-click a tinker, I can "attach" it to the hat.
But after that, impossible to remove it. Even when removing the hat, tinker stays in the hat...

the fact that an attachment goes with the item, i am pretty sure is not new nor a bug.
it is also known that tinkers and seeds use the same slots. that was reported already.

as i don't own either addon, i need to ask.
question 1
how are the slots unlocked on either side.
-on which lvl do the demonologist unlocks his slots
-how does a tinker unlocks the slots.

question 2
which did you pick first?
it is possible that since unlocking one of them first, made the other not bother using its own key to the slots.
if a tinker is supposed to have all the slots from the very begining, it is possible it doesn't make a check for the slot.

The demonologist Demon weapon slot unlock when you learn https://te4.org/wiki/Demon_seed_(talent)

Then other slots unlock when you level talent: https://te4.org/wiki/Bind_demon_(talent)
At level2 you unlock 1st ring slot, etc...

For tinkers, EVERYTHING unlock the second you learn steamtechs(physics/chemistry) categories.

So there's definitely a bug with Demonologist. Because NOTHING unlock when you learn steamtechs talent categories (even without any talent in "Demon Seed").
(And for your "2nd question", Demonologist are born with "Demonic Pact", and can learn Steamtechs after. Cannot test in different order. But I suspect you are right),


Demon and tinkers slots are identical.
In my mind, with both available, everything should be unlocked (like other classes), and you should, at last be able to choose if you want a Demon or a Tinker in a particular slot (at best to have both equipped...).

(And as a side note, you should be able to remove tinkers from items, directly from inventory with a right-click submenu. That could "solve" this issue).
