Fungus tree ->regen add on heal ->%turn add on regen applied

#1 Post by St_ranger_er »

The game has a few sources of heal that doesn't add a turn but add a regen effect when procced (like heal infusion), Or just doesn't proc regen_on_heal like Sudden Growth or healing salve.

Is it any way to calculate which of heal proc regen or _should_be_ proc regen (and therefore Ancestral Life)?

I can't see any reason that healing salve can't proc Fungal Growth. Well it's debatable should fungal web tinker(heal on salve use) proc Fungal Growth or not.

well, as for the "EQ on regen", it doean't work with just "any time you have a health over time effect on", it works with THE regeneration timed effect.

a lot of the timed effect, work out of a template, which can be called on by multiple talents.

if a talent, like Highborn's gift, triggers the effect called 'regeneration', this timed effect will give you EQ restoration over time, equal to the power of your fungus. something like "vitality" however, even if effectively the same, uses a different timed effect.
most likely becaues DG doesn't want them to block each other, and the effect of that, is that vitality can't restore your EQ.

when it comes to "regen on heal" part of the fungus tree...
i am pretty sure, it can apply to any and all "active" talents, that heals you by a set value.
it wont however trigger out of triggered heals, like blood grasp or blood splash.

well, at least i know for a fact that aegis shield trigger's like that, so considering the two talents do pretty much the same (timed effect on heal) there is a good chance it behaves alike.

after reread edit:
healing salve...
my guess that it wont work, because it might be a trigered property, rather than a DIRECT heal.
don't own the embers to check through.
