Still enjoying this addon.

Some more thoughts:
1)Knowing whether or not a bazaar is selling a fake map is really unreliable. I'm guessing it is a random chance on ask, rolling against certain stats, so it can flipflop on repeated asks. Effectively though, once you have all the maps, the chance of it being fake is 100 percent, whereas it is thankful rare before that. I'd suggest a flat compare just to avoid it flip-flopping. I know if it says its fake once, its definitely fake, but it's weird that the character is able to alternate on that.

2)In terms of 'we don't want fighting here really', I found that I at least feel waaay more likely to react with violence to the fake maps, especially later in the game when that's all they do. Could be a personal play, but effectively: Everyone starts trying to push fake maps. Not even 'maps I already have' or something, but clear fakes. Since the game is like it is, afterwards I'm very likely to just rob and kill them for vengeance. Truthfully, I'd almost push for some dishonest merchants (higher prices for junk, occassional rare stuff, always lies) that might merit that, instead of having every merchant start peddling a 'I'm totally ripping you off' as an option. Either way, it is one of the ways that things are turning into "I just kill everyone in this room now".

3)The longer I play, the more I'm enjoying the mirror golem bit, but I did it weirdly this run. He became the incentive to steal. Not even for the item itself (I just trashed them), but because he was easily beatable in midgame (level 30) for my character, but generally a level 33-38 boss type that gave plenty of xp. I went through a couple shops murdering the heck out of him. Not sure what to do about that, since it feels the right point to be able to violently steal effectively and reliably... and it is indeed the power level of him that makes it tempting to just kill him a few times and rack up a level. But hey, just noting.

4)The existence of just a lot of new levels pushes Normal's xp balance a bit stronger out of whack. I'm getting east at 34-35. Having some of the harder ones move out east would really help on few fronts:
1)Less overpower opportunities in early game from the maps.
2)More content for east.
3)Help avoid Graveyard one.

5)I think I'm two for two with dying at the graveyard one. It's a good step more dangerous than the entire rest of the set, even blasting destroy magic around. I know that now, but it basically feels a thing to overlevel for from how durable the boss is.
ToME Tips - auto-generated spoilers for ToME. - someone else made. I find super awesome, so spreading as well.

I've just gotten back into ToME after something of a hiatus (about a year or so) and I've noticed that the bazaar town is broken by one of the updates. Every time I go into it the first time (from the hedge maze), it spawns a LUA error and the screen never loads (all black, but my UI is still there). This is after a save, unfortunately, and the Rod of Recall spawns another error and then says it fizzles out.

This mod is awesome! Any chance of getting it fixed?

Well, the original creator of the mod hasn't logged on to the forums for almost six years, so my money's on "no", unless someone else decides to take it on.
