Im at my highest point in game level 12. Got to this level following advice about dwarf and bulwark being best.
So what did I do? Somehow I have messed things up.
I have everything set to go on enemies adjacent, however I must have pressed something coz even tho each thing is still set I have to left click to choose attack, shield, pummel etc.
Love to return to normal but not sure how

if you have a single adjacent target, any melee only ability (even things like sweep) will automatically be cast only at that target, because there is no realistic possibility of casting it anywhere else.
However, if there are 2 or more targets, such ability will not auto activate on anyone.
you have to chose which one.
i mean, if that was auto, there are a lot of ways that could seriously mess you up, unable to chose the target.
"trigger when", only presses the button the first time.
so self centered abilities like bathe in light, realign, or blood boil, will trigger regardless of targets.
Abilities that can be targeted at multiple locations however, will require your confirmation.
it my auto chose(last target preference), but it will never finalize for you, if there is a possibility of you disagreeing.

You may have disabled auto bump attack. Which I can never remember where in the options/keybindings it is.
