Question on Bone Giant

I was clearing out side rooms in the graveyard in prep for entering the main room when I was so "lucky" to run into a Bone Giant. Seems this is common since I saw a screenshot where someone else unearthed one of these. Named elite, loads of resistance including 50% all. Somehow I managed to kill it once and then it resurrected and I didn't have much luck getting it down the second time due to running out of mana (Alchemist). I know stuff reverts back to 100% if you leave the level and come back but does the resurrect reset as well? If I go back will I have to kill it twice again?

hmm, tbh, i've never thought of that. i've killed gazillions of them, but never left between its two lives.

The resurrect won't reset. It's like the player having an extra life.
