Darkest Light exploding instantly?

Is Darkest Light exploding in the same turn it's cast a bug or very bad luck with rares? Got one-shot on level 10 by Bringer of Doom casting this talent immediately after appearing.

if its a sustain, i am pretty sure sustains don't provide a resource bar.

that mean resource is 0...
and 0 resource mean all sustains relying on it got turned off.

not too long ago i mana clashed an anorithil doom sayer. mistakes were made.

The bringer of doom appeared with darkest light already active. Did it cost you a whole turn to kill the third guardian of pedestals? If so then darkest light deactivated while you were waiting for your following turn.

That talent should be flagged so that NPCs don't auto activate.

That's most likely what happened, but still finding it weird that rares can use this talent as an instant nuke when they spawn with it.

disruption shield can only be used when below 10% resource, this talent could be made to only be usable when above certain %.
can players use it at 0 resource?
