Skirmisher trees not available

Title says it, I have race/class unlocks but skirmisher isn't in my adventurer tree choices. Any ideas?

The trees available to Adventurers are the trees available to rand bosses.

1.4.x removed the Skirmisher trees from rand bosses because they're very poorly balanced.

Thanks for the thorough answer. Looking through the talents, I dunno if they'd be good for anything else, they all touch on the weapon combo of shield and sling.

the tireless combatant doesn't.

it just requires you to not be adjacent to an enemy.
