Hey, I've got this problem since I started playing this class. Before I played with Archer and didn't have lags (or at least I don't recall anything like this). From what I've noticed - the period before it lags gets shorter every time. At first it was much longer then it is now.
Basicly, game increases the usage of CPU over time, up till 60% when it becomes unplayable.
To me, it looks like some data is stored and procceded every time I enter location and it stays loaded/in memory instead of being disposed (I'm programmer, seen similar thing happen because of this).

Had the same with 1.4.0/1.4.1 Dwarf Bulwark after picking up Antimagic and Fungus trees/finishing Tempest Peak. Constant lag/fps drop that didn't occur before making the game hardly playable. Didn't try to reproduce it with other characters yet.

Tempest Peak is well known for performance issues.
Exiting to main menu and loading the character again usually frees up the locked ram.
