Why were tooltips made intentionally more obtuse?

#1 Post by rekenner »

You used to be able to tell (in 1.3.x, I can't really recall for older versions) what egos rares had on their weapons. It now just displays that they *have* an ego. Why was this removed? Especially with an update to see gear (which is, as far as I can tell, completely useless on enemies, as you can't see any of their egos).

It used to be the only way to not get destroyed by arcane burn/disruption on-hit, and while some arcane classes might be a bit too strong, for most of them it's just you getting completely destroyed out of nowhere.

I agree, hopefully this can be changed in an upcoming version. Just telling us that they have an ego is basically useless information, they (nearly?) always have an ego.
