Did you learn any escort stuff, got talent from items perhaps ?

Ok that was quick: beta5 is up!

The bug change from b4 is the new video option to change screen zoom; for high dpi displays for example. Test it out please

Hey!

Your first fix for beta 1 did work for me. Then, tried to get the version 5. Got the same problem than before. Then I tried the fix you gave to me (copying the old 1.3.3 exe and dll into the new folder). The game dont start somehow. I have a blank window tab with nothing in it (just the name of the game).

Also, It seems now that I have some files from tome that I cant even erase...

Assuming the question is directed to me: yes, I did get escorts (two for this character) and took generic talents (Channel Staff and Unflinching Resolve). But my understanding was that the generic talents and class talents are counted separately.

Cursing items is seriously buggy now, as is investing/uninvesting a cat point in that tree (I imagine that equipping/unequipping an item granting cat multiplier is similarly problematic). LUA errors submitted.

This may just be purely coincidental rolls of the the RNG but it seems a little suspicious.

Playing 1.4.0b5. Starting a Shalore Archmage and entering the Abashed Expanse the wormhole was on the same island as me. Stabilising it and travelling through it, level 2 also had the wormhole on the same island and after stabilising and travelling that one, on level 3 the Spatial Disturbance (boss) was waiting for me on the same island.

I just started an archmage on beta 5 and didn't land on the same island as the wormhole. Agree that it seem suspicious, but it doesn't seem to be happening every time.

thanks for putting in zoom, but a few issues I've seen so far (tested on 200% zoom).

1: The level up dialog is completely empty, so I can't put points into talents or stats (screenshot has been scaled down for easier viewing and uploading).
2: NPC dialog (as well as the dialog with command staff) does not display any options. This was from the initial conversation with Tarelion
3: When dragging icons off the talent menu (m) to the hot bar, the icon is far away from the cursor, although it still seems to work if you ignore the weirdly floating icon.

I'm having the same respec issues as jdisk. Just started the character, so no escorts yet or item based skills.

Update: My latest character is only able to respec his latest TWO class skills.

I don't think it allows you to respec points that are automatically assigned on character generation.
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

I saw it again in beta 5. Unfortunately, my normal rythm

1 go down stairs
2 press z
3 rush
4 kill if necessary
5 goto 2

which is optimal use of the steamroller talent, doesn't really lend itself to saving before every z. I'd just killed an orc without breaking losing any health, but my auto-use talents would have used some stamina so Z should have rested some - but according to the screen, everything was restored and I should have started moving.

Savefile at the same location.

After that, I reloaded the savefile and tried again, but I didn't meet that orc at the same location and nothing happened.
