Helping krogar
So what happen when you decided to help krogar instead to fight filarel
Is it even possible

Re: Helping krogar
if you mean the orc vs anorithil boss fight, no. the game automatically assumes you to be the "good" guy.
after you kill her, the orc will attack you.
but it probably shouldn't be a problem to you. i mean, if you killed the master AND the wirmic orc, you can probably blaze through both of them.

Re: Helping krogar
Well that makes sense
but what if we play as the orc since there will be a new expansion pack

Re: Helping krogar
that can only be answered once it comes to it, but most likely it will be restricted to its own campaign, and not available in the current one.
but that's just my guess. i didn't read much on the topic, it is possible i am wrong about it.
might have even been already answered elsewhere.

Does it have any impact on the story if you kill the lady? Does she drop good stuff?Radon26 wrote:if you mean the orc vs anorithil boss fight, no. the game automatically assumes you to be the "good" guy.

Re: Helping krogar
the loots are nothing special.
if she dies, she just uses her last breath to say "inform the town!" or something like that.
and you dont get to unlock anorithil.

Re: Helping krogar
The game does seem to indicate there would be a separate path or at least reward for siding with the orc and killing the elf woman. But nothing yet.
As a Time Warden, I was fighting the orc and had a paradox teleport me all the way across the level. When I got back to the starting room they were both dead & gone.

Re: Helping krogar
the "game" doesn't "indicate" anything.
the orc himself says there is, but if you look, he is already set as hostile.
the games makes the choice for you, but forgets to say that it did.

Re: Helping krogar
Seems like an unfinished part, like DG wanted there to be a divergent path where you really could side with the orcs instead and retake the world with them

Re: Helping krogar
i think in earlier version, you could help him, and after killing elf, he say something like "i will spare you for now" and your char if i remember correctly will say "I don't like elves anyway"
It was around version 1.1 or maybe even earlier. so many years ago

Re: Helping krogar
i din't help him but once he said something about there being an additional(?) hidden orc stronghold he would give access to or something like that. I have not seen it but once.
