Antimagic arcane disruption?

#1 Post by Charlie_B »

Playing as a Yeek Summoner, I put on an arcane disrupting mindstar and was told that there was interference with my magic. When I checked I was wearing a ring that was powered by arcane forces so I took it off, but the 'disruption' icon remained. I tried taking the mindstart off/on but that didn't help. So, I went to Zigur and did the AM quest. I've successfully completd it, but I'm still being told that my arcane powers are being disrupted?

You didn't happen to have... Say healing light/bathe in light or a rune inscribed on yourself?

That message appears if you have arcane talents, not arcane items.

I thought that once you went AM you lost any arcane talents that you had (or that if you'd taken e.g. Celestial/Light you can't go AM)?

I think it only erases Zigur off the map if you learn an arcane talent tree. Once you become AM, you are unable to cast spells, but they don't disappear from your hotbar. They just become grayed out.
