Just cleared the sandworm lair without a weapon

I didn't realized that my Duskwolf, which I bought from a vendor, was arcane imbued. After I finished the AM Quest and went on to kill the worm queen, I questioned my weapon choice since it was so weak and I literally dealt less dmg with my previous one.

In the middle of the queen fight I happen to open my inventory and see my empty weapon slot. I was pretty stunned that I had no weapon equipped and had no to use in the fight. Well, suprisingly I had success killing the queen and my lvl 15 ogre cursed is stuck with a sub par weapon now.


Did this, or something similiar, happen to anyone else too ?

Today I ran without a second ring for the exact same reason. It wasnt as bad as yours.

I've done that more often than I can count, usually because I swapped weapon sets for some reason or another and then forgot to swap back. A zone or two later, I finally notice why my melee attacks have been doing so little damage and/or triggering weird procs

For me it's usually pressing [Q] by accident and swapping to an empty weapon set.
