Do you have a mod/addon?
Do you need/want help with some of the visuals?

what I'd really like to see is ability icons(for vanilla icons) that move when you mouse over them then instantly revert back to the normal picture when the cursor isnt over it, and for this to happen on the levelup menu as well
of course not all of em would have an animation

malestrom would swirl
bathe in light would shine, or at least have colors changing from yellow to white and back and forth but not all at once
barrier would have the thingy hitting the barrier move
devour life would have stuff going into the mouth
the gestures would move the hand every 1.5 seconds, except guarding would constantly move
lightning would crackle
cold flames would burn


just some examples

i would like to see this happen sometime after the game's content is finished up or at least looks like its completely finished(orc helping option in main campaign orc expansion pack finish melinda quest line make content after the final bosses for ashes)

I have quite a large request actually. I'm working on a Deathknight class that has a whole lot of unique trees. My icon skill is quite basic so I'd greatly appreciate any work you could do. The design document is here, with the talent names and their flavour - will let you decide what icons seem appropriate.

Thanks a lot! I especially like Dusk, Tyrant and Undeath, but all seem pretty suitable. Will add them to my mod later tonight and see how they feel ingame.

Sorry trenggiling - I'm going to nitpick! I found a few icons I prefer for Necrotic Might's 2-4 abilities. If you don't mind, could you colour them in the style you did for the tree? I originally tried to do it myself, but evidently my gfx skills aren't up to snuff...

If there is anything else you would like me to touch up, feel free to ask ^.^

Oh by the way, I may have had to recolor the first one slightly to match the new 3, because I couldn't seem to make them the exact shade of teal as the first set.
You can barely tell but... you better replace the first one anyway.

Edit: While I'm at it I'll whip up a new icon for the squire trees soul link skill.
Because it's essentially just endless cycle (from the soulforge tree) only gray.

Hey Razakai, do you have any plans for what models you're going to use for some of these things? (Flesh wall tiles, your squire, soul shards, ect)
Cause I would be happy to rig something up for you. (Just don't ask me to do particle effects lol... because I can't):

I have some placeholder ones at the moment, so I'd be happy with tiles for any of the following:

- Soul Fragments from Soul Rend (perhaps just a shadowy ghost, or maybe a more abstract shard/fragment-like thing, that might be best to clearly differentiate it from enemies)
- Squires. One is a sword/shield knight, the other a mage, the other an archer. Would be nice to have one of each, but even a single one would be good so I'm not using boring existing mobs.
- The Shackled Souls from Dread are currently just using the wight tile. Some sort of cold ghost wraith thing would be nice for them.
- Necrotic Wall is a lower priority, as I'm using the Necrotic Abomination tile which is pretty fitting. If you want I'd be happy to see what you can manage.

I might also need some help with debuff icons - not sure what yet though, once I finish up my last talent tree I'll be tidying and balancing so will let you know then, thanks.

Two of the things have 3 variants of them, I'll let you decide which one best fits what you are looking for :wink:
