Whenever I try to scroll through the game log, it causes a huge mess, like this:

When that happens if I don't restart ToME I eventually get a crash.
I'm running ToME in Windows 7 on a laptop. Drivers are the latest available for the laptop (not the latest, proprietary bullshit unfortunately). I can run ToME on either the integrated graphics card (Intel HD 4000) or Radeon 7670, and it makes no difference. Switching resolutions or mode (borderless/fullscreen) doesn't make a difference. Turning off antialiased text doesn't make a difference. Turning shaders and framebuffers on or off doesn't make a difference. te4_log.txt doesn't seem to say anything interesting to my eyes, although I could supply the file if it would be useful.
I'm not sure what else is relevant, so feel free to ask.

Re: Scrolling through game log causes a mess
It looks like the C code is reading garbage from random places of memory occupied by Lua strings. Some of these lines shouldn't even appear in the log.
Re: Scrolling through game log causes a mess
When I open the log and start scrolling, it eventually happens no matter what. Sometimes it breaks after a second, sometimes after five.darkgod wrote:WOhhhhh "nice" ..

The garbled mess that appears seems to pick up whatever else I was looking at before opening the log, but I'm not 100% on that. In the screenshot I posted, I was looking at key bindings before opening the log.
