Small change to Demon Seeds

#1 Post by 64legos »

Right now, the finger effects of Demon Seeds are this:

Fire Imp: +1 Vim when hit
Wretchling: +1 Vim when hit
Quasit: +2 Vim when hit
Water Imp: +2 Vim when hit
Dolleg: +1 Vim on melee hit
Dúathedlen: +1 Vim on melee hit
Uruivellas: +2 Vim on melee hit
Thaurhereg:+2 vim on melee hit
Daelach: +3 Vim on melee hit
Wretch Titan: +3 Vim on melee hit
Champion of Urh'Rok: +1 Vim regen
Forge Giant: +1 Vim regen

I suggest changing some of these talents to recover stamina instead of vim:

Fire Imp: +1 Vim when hit
Wretchling: +1 Stamina when hit
Quasit: +2 Stamina when hit
Water Imp: +2 Vim when hit
Dolleg: +1 Stamina on melee hit
Dúathedlen: +1 Vim on melee hit
Uruivellas: +2 Stamina on melee hit
Thaurhereg:+2 vim on melee hit
Daelach: +3 Vim on melee hit
Wretch Titan: +3 Stamina on melee hit
Champion of Urh'Rok: +1 Stamina regen
Forge Giant: +1 Vim regen

This change has two main benefits:

1) Provides more variance in demon seeds:

Right now, the only difference between finger slot demons in the same Tier are the demons they summon, this makes the choice between them a little more interesting.

2) Helps Demonologists with their "stamina issues".

Between the lack of the Combat Veteran tree (Quick recovery) and one talent that recovers stamina (at level 18), Demonologists often burn out quickly in fights from lack of stamina. This change should help keep this from happening.

This sounds like an excellent idea.

Yes. This issue isn't limited to Demonologists, but this would be a good fix for them. The game really needs better ways to regain stamina than resting.
