Lichform remake?

I suggest that lichform talent get a remake. It feels out of place where skeleton racial talent is better than o'mighty lich. At least give it a talent that none other of the classes/races have. +6 Magic, Willpower and Cunning is not that impressive when equipments can give the same amount if not better. Also, I don't think most people would be able to get above 70% resistance cap so no need to increase the caps by 15%.

I'm not saying to make lichform overpowered. Just make it unique that none of the other classes/races have. Also, that +3 life rating isn't too enticing. You're not suppose to take as much as one or two hit as a necromancer in my opinion but then wouldn't the skeleton racial talent be much better if you want to take more hits? I dunno but I think it is.

Does the cost of using talent points on this talent really justified? And star fury.... Come ONNN!!! Can't it get its own unique talent that separate it from the rest?

Lich King along with his skeleton minions! :D If you guys disagree with me then post your opinions down below. Oh yeah... that damn ceremony quest for the "From Death, Life" drain 40 fortress energy which can be use to for something else if you know what I mean...

elsewhere i suggested that if you are at max souls, your "imperfect" minions would be able to rank up when they score a kill.
if you don't like your minions, you can kill them to spawn a new one as long as you have souls for it, so why not auto replace, on the rare chance when they actually kill something? and even if they do there is always a risk of "out of range life decay" or an enemy throwing nukes left and right.

making the necrotic aura a passive would also seem nice. would it be over powered?
well it would basically mean increasing your max mana by 20-30 (whatever the actuall number) and it could not be disabled by an enemy.

That necrotic aura idea is a really nice idea. Minor but glorious.

Might be annoying if you wanted to ditch your minions or swap them out for whatever reason. A much shortened cooldown might be more useful in that regard.

Alternately, how about giving level 6 a +1 active minion bonus, and level 5 +2 max souls? Granted, this would be more useful for some builds than others, but it makes thematic sense with the whole "ultimate master of undeath" theme. Doesn't seem like it would be super overpowered, but it's a nice little boost.

Another option is to remove the mana drain entirely, perhaps reduce the sustain cost, and have lichform serve better in a "recover from death" sense, where you can potentially leave it on and play as normal until something manages to off you. This has the bonus of acting similar to how The Master uses it when you fight him.

The Master uses Lichform?
I always just thought it was the skeleton racial revive...

master was a vampire, not a skeleton. i know, it still doesn't explain how an undead can become a lich, but its still can't be reassemble.
