Completed the Tower before Daikara, unable to proceed

So I killed the master before the dragon boss in Daikara, and now I don't know how to proceed with the main story line because the orc event didn't trigger. Any tips on how to proceed?

What happens when you take the staff to last hope?

The quest order means nothing in this game.

It's not in my inventory.. if it dropped from the master I should had picked it up because I used Z to make sure the level was clear, but it's not in my inventory so I'm not 100% clear. I tried to redo the tower but the master didn't respawn (yes the tower itself did respawn, but not the boss.)

Its never a good idea to force a respawn.

I didn't force it. I just re-reentered the dungeon and found that it was reset.

So, there's nothing I can do now?

bosses gone awol may help?
i am sure it will help you find the boss, but a unique artefact is still a unique artefact...
i have not tried this mod myself so i don't know if it can spawn items.

I've been suggesting certain plot bosses and items ignore the 'only generate once' thing so that you can still get them when things go wrong.

I tried the mod the it seems the boss just wasn't there.. I think I'm probably just screwed up.

boss can spawn only once, if you killed him before, he will not return on its own even if you regenerate the zone.
