Dying while under the effect of Cease to Exist permanently kills a player, regardless of how many lives they have left or if they're on Exploration mode.
This is kinda funny in a thematically appropriate way, but serious weaksauce.

I can't reproduce this. Tried with both easy mode lives and skeleton reassemble.

Really? That's strange, I can reproduce it 100% of the time. The skeleton re-assemble gets around it though due to when it triggers, you're right. In every other case that I test the player goes to the eidolon plane but then has the final death dialog pop up (and the log shows you also being killed on the eidolon plane also). I wonder why you can't replicate this...hmm.

yeah, don't know. I tried on a higher too.
Set the game difficulty to exploration, cast cease to exist, killed my character, woke up on eidolon plane.

you are getting the cease to exist debuff on your character, yeah? The issue is dying after it's been used on you, not dying while something else is under the effect of it, in case I wasn't clear enough initially.
