1.3 Rares in Temporal Starting Area
I'm not sure whether the temporal starting area counts as "forced" but if it does there appears to be a problem because there are still rares spawning in there

Nah, it's not forced. Archmage zone isn't either.

What does count as a forced starting zone, then? Yeek zones?
Re: 1.3 Rares in Temporal Starting Area
Everything that doesn't have an option to not enter it I imagine

Re: 1.3 Rares in Temporal Starting Area
That would be starting zones for Undead, Yeek, Dwarf (first zone only), Demonologist/Doombringer and Sun Paladin/Anorithil (Elf & Human only IIRC).
Re: 1.3 Rares in Temporal Starting Area
Wouldn't it be simpler to just block them from your first dungeon, and not have people try to work out why some dungeons have rares and other don't?

As for forced zones, I find it kind of strange that if you're playing an undead TW, you start in the blighted ruins. But I guess you need that cloak of deception...
Can't your guy just use an image of his past self or something to trick the other people around him into thinking he's not undead?
