You can check HousePets druid addon, they get bonus's when using wood / leather. Probably use that as a base but for the opposite.

Yeah, I'll look into it. Now that I know it's a thing that's been done, I can do it. x3

Trying to practice coding on my own, although making new skills is probably beyond me right now, trying to learn a little, at least~

So, went through and gave the idea a second pass. There's a saner Temperature mechanic now, new trees, and more!

Edit: Thinking on it, I realize this might not be the right section for this topic. If any mods or whoever want to move it to Addons, that'd probably be best.

Figured I might as well give this a bit of a necro, since I still love the idea...it's just gotten beyond my meager coding skills. x3

Even if it never goes anywhere, would be cool to get some feedback on the last version. =3
