Stuck in Celia's Mausoleum

In each of the last three games I've played (1.2.5) I get stuck in the mausoleum after having killed Celia and friends. The stairs out disappear when I open Celia's door, and nothing appears to replace them afterward. It's easy to work around with the Rod of Recall, but still seems like a bug.

Not a bug. The stairs are supposed to disappear when you meet Celia.

So how are you supposed to get out?

You shoiuld have killed your first boss before you get there, and have gotten a reward that is an alternative way of leaving those premises.

There aren't any other dungeons that require the Rod to exit. What would be the harm in spawning a staircase or portal to the surface after Celia dies?

Tempest Peak is another one that you need to recall out of.

Also alt-maze. It's not common, but there are places you need to recall out of.

Alt Maze and Tempest Peak contain bosses that can drop the rod, but Celia is only rank 3.5 so she doesn't IIRC. Bumping her up to 4 would also solve it.

Yeah, seeing as it is otherwise perfectly correct to kill any boss as your first one, and seeing as Celia is actually pretty tough, I support the notion.

I'm stuck too, there is no stairs and i don't have "Rod of Recall"
