Stamina is pretty annoying its current state. There's no way to regain it with inscriptions like you can with mana, few classes have a good talent for regaining it quickly, and it takes forever to regain while resting unless you stack regen on gear (which is hard to do in the first place) or invest in Quick Recovery (which isn't available to every class and is basically a waste of points regardless). I don't have this many issues managing any other resource.
If it's intended to be a resource that you primarily regain between fights, so be it, but at least make it regenerate faster while resting so I don't need to wait 500+ turns between fights. This makes sense thematically anyway: you regain your energy faster while taking a rest than you do during combat. I would recommend granting at least +2 stamina regen while resting.

Every ten turns you rest your regen values are increased by 100%.
Not saying it's optimal, but there's some of this behavior already. I know, as someone with a lower end PC, that I will often put a point in Quick Recovery just to speed up the tedium of resting.
Maybe base stamina regen could just be bumped up a bit? I think even a flat 1 wouldn't break the game.

There's an addon, Faster Rest/Run/Explore, that does something with frame dividers to shorten the time it takes to rest, so that you won't have to waste a talent point to make resting manageable.

What about linking resource regen to con? A healthy body leads to a healthy mind so it wouldn't be out of place for psi or mana at least. Will keeps being how deep you can dig into your reserves while con is how fast you recover. If it's a multiplier like healmod gear won't make it irrelevant and you'll be able to reach a steady state with low cost skills by building con for classes that use abilities it effects, which should be neither too large nor too small a return on heavy stat investment.edge2054 wrote:Every ten turns you rest your regen values are increased by 100%.

I think adding a stamina regen bonus to Con is a good idea, although I'd like to see a resting bonus added as well. My goal with this thread isn't necessarily to gain regen during combat, just between fights since that won't affect game balance.
