[Idea]- A handful of new classes

#1 Post by afdnz »

I thought perhaps this idea for a dervish class was worth while, anyone who would like to try to make it can with or without me, but if you do make it I offer my help on the conceptual and play-test ends. I only made one special tree to leave the potential coder with freedom to make it as they see it, but I am more then willing to produce a full class concept if they wish (so all they have to do is write the code). Also I am not obsessed with it being "mine" so while I would like some credit, I do not need it.

Dervish- A dexterous fighter who dances a deadly swath through their enemies with twin swords. where most fighters dread being surrounded, they are most at home when there is no exit.
special skill tree- dance
-blade dance- while active fire (skill level) attacks in random directions with each normal attack de-activates with triple cool-down if teleported (via a phase door rune for example). (consumes 5 stam/turn cooldown 20 turns)
-contort- attacks after the first one received in a turn have a consecutively lower chance to hit while blade dance is active. (1-20%/hit scaling with Talent level and Dex)
-fluid motion- after an attack, while blade dance is active, you may make one move without ending your turn (15-100% chance of activating, scaling with talent level and dex)
-Ceaseless dance- Reduces the cooldown for blade dance (to a potential 5 scaling with vitality and willpower) and the stamina consumption (to a potential .25 scaling with vitality and willpower)

Please note that the maximum values are presumed to have dumped every category point into improving the dance tree, maxed out the respective stat and put five skill points into the skill.

Another could be a "deprived" sort of class, with a dozen random skills (and only one active at start), no equipment or money this is not a class for the faint of heart as it will typically leave you with a nigh unplayable character (kudoes for anybody who wins with it though.)
