Achievement proposal

It is my understanding that there are a set of core achievements and they are spread across all the difficulties and all the "# lives" modes.

Does it make sense to unlock the matching achievements for adventure and casual mode when the rouge-like mode one is unlocked? Rouge-like is the harder of the 3 and I personally don't want to go back and repeat them on the easier modes.

I was wondering if other people shared this opinion.

I actually thought this the very first time I got an achievement, since it occured on Roguelike and didn't pop up for Adventurer.

Something else to be done with achievements is to make sure anything gotten with Devmode active does not actually count. I accidentally killed Linaniil my first time playing with Devmode, and that Roguelike achievement just feels hollow because of it.

I really think it should. If I get "I beat the room of death and all I got was this lousy achievement" on Roguelike, it should also award adventurer and casual. Bionic Dues does this, if you get an achievement on "hard" it also awards the achievements for "normal" and "easy".

It will take out a lot of the tediousness of the game, if I get something on roguelike dosen't that pretty much mean I did it on adventure? For all intents and purposes, it's the exact same thing. I didnt die yet, so I might as well have infinite lives. The number of lives you have dosen't make any differences until you actually die.

Doesn't it work like that already? I only got the "Burnt to the Ground" Achievement once (on NM RG) and I have it listed on my profile five times (Nightmare, Nightmare Roguelike, Normal, Normal Roguelike, Exploration) :?

Are the achievements missing from Steam or from your te4.org profile?

I just checked my ToME website profile and it looks like achievements do work like that for the website. But they don't work like that for steam.

I just found out that you can sync the game with the steam version on te4.org and that will push all the achievements to the stream version that are unlocked on the te4 website!
