Psiblades and telekinetic weapons

Psiblades works with telekinetic weapons, a pleasant surprise but I don't think it's intended

Would it work if I was setup with...

hand 1: mindstar
hand 2: shield
hand 3: mindstar?

Or is it only with tri-stars?

It works with 1 tele mindstar and one in hand, but I can't check with shields because I'm running a no armor one
