Really dumb AI decision

#1 Post by pheonix89 »

So I'm playing a doombringer and have Flame of Urh'Rok up, and an AI corrupter hits me with Fearscape. Why on earth would he do that? I mean, that's literally a worse use of time and vim than throwing the turn and vim away.

The tactical AI can still be really dumb. It likely used Fearscape simply because it's programmed to do that on any player it fights without considering that you get healed just like demons do.

The thing is, AI does only exactly what you tell it to do. Unless you specifically program it to keep in mind players that might be healed by Fearscape, it won't take it into account.

However, Darkgod should probably make sure Corruptors realize that. Otherwise, one of the biggest threats in the game is now a temporary reprieve.
I'm not crying. I'm offering a sacrifice to DarkGod in hopes he'll show favor to me.

It hasn't worked yet.

I know - I just figured this was the appropriate place to report AI issues on this level of stupidity and ease of fixing.

Makes sense. Though for now, abuse time!
