Wild infusions remove 1 condition. If you have two conditions such as blind and illuminate and only one wild:phys, it is problematic because the blind is EXTREMELY dangerous but the illumination is not (even for stealth chars the blind is by far more important). Thus to only sure way to counter a Sun infusion is either have 2 wild:phys infusions (of some sort) or to have some ability which can clear more than one things (ex: providence).


As for Track, Arcane Eye, Wands of Clairvoyance, telepathy etc. These are some of the most powerful things in the game. Which one you want will depend, Track allows HUGE coverage with high cunning. A wand of clairvoyance offers a much lower CD and lets you check a corner before turning it, when there is a potential for dangerous rares/uniques/randbosses this becomes a virtual requirement.

But for Shadowstep specifically if you have any sort of telepathy analog you can to teleport through walls, this can also work in vaults. Telepathy analogs will not penetrate outer vault walls but may work inside the vault itself. Also Shadowstep, unlike similar abilities such as blindside, works inside vaults.

So anyone who is using Shadowstep as a major component of their gameplay should have a telepathy analog, the easiest and probably most useful for SS is a wand of clairvoyance due to the range(10) and CD(6) being the same as SS.

Having a movement + wand + SS allows for the following maneuver. Pop clairvoyance(1turn)+movement(instant), Run up to something(~1turn), flurry it(1turn) and oneshot it, SS to something in a different room(1 turn and clairvoyance 3 turn duration runs out).

You can do this around a corner too and having popped clairvoyance you would know what to ninja before turning the corner. Having popped you movement you can't be pinned or dazed to prevent your escape via SS, and your immunity will last into the combat for the thing to SS to even the SS did not one shot it.
