Stuck on Escape from Reknor Floor 3

I finished Escape of Reknor and The Deep Bellow. Then went back to Escape from Reknor and now I have a copy of my char sitting on the stairs back to the dwarf town. Not sure what to do as my Rod of Recall doesn't do anything...

Hehe. I wouldn't do that. It's actually *you* in two places. The map gets confused and makes a kind of wormhole that points back at you. If you attack it, you take damage.

I created an addon that will clear these kinds of clones: Bosses Gone AWOL (link in my sig). For an already created character, edit the desc.lua file in the char's save dir and add the addon name to the addon list. If you use Steam, you may have to disable the cloud saves first, then click on the save once in ToME before opening the file in an editor.

Hi,

came across this same problem, but the add-on didn't work. Probably because I already have a character that I like and wouldn't want to start over. I did as you said, the add-on's active, but my clone is still there. Realising I modified the desc.lua-file, added the addon, it seems to disappear from the file every time I run the game. So I'm doing it wrong, and I'm new, so wowuld you mind explaining how to add it to the list in the file?
