Fixed - Got Ashes on Steam, now how to get it on Standard?

I purchased the Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC through Steam and am now trying to get it working on my laptop without Steam.
It does show that I have purchased the Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC through Steam on the Balances section of my profile.

Since I couldn't find a download link or an update link I tried copying the TalesMajEyal folder from my SteamApps\Common directory from my PC onto my laptop.
It did list the Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC in the Addons list as active and I was logged in with my Steam account but I could not create a Doombringer.
When I tried to logout and login it told me it couldn't find Steam (big surprise since it wasn't installed).

I then tried copying the DLC file from the Steam version into the standard version and creating a dlcs folder as with the Steam version with similiar results.
Ashes of Urh'Rok is showing in the Addons list as active and I am logged in but I still can't create a Doombringer.
I have also tried moving the ashes-urhrok.teaac file from the dlcs folder and into the addons folder with no success.
I have tried disabling and re-enabling the Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC within the Addons list and restarting the TE4 client.

I've even tried syncing my Steam achievements and creating a new character and letting them get killed.


Anyone know what I need to do?

I haven't got around to poking it yet due to a thesis due in two days, but have you tried running the launcher?

It was the first thing I did and I've tried running it multiple times.


Edit: It seems it might have been fixed already, although I haven't been able to test it yet.

Edit2: So I just tested it and I still can't run or even download the Ashes DLC.

Just like to add that I have the same issue.

I was able to fix this problem by running a file check on my steam install of the game. It then correctly installed the expansion and registered it for me.
