I've finished the quest in the Hallowed Fields, killed the boss, got the Plumpkin, and now there doesn't seem to be any way out. I did have to save and quit my game while in the Fields, and I'm wondering if that caused a problem. Rod of Recall doesn't work, auto-explore doesn't get me anywhere but the stairs to the first floor.
oops, should have posted here, I have the same thing, I even dug and cast vision everywhere in hallowed fields(2) just to check if the portal was hiding somewhere
Hum very weird, can you mail me the savefile please ?
[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

I'm actually having the same problem leaving the hollowed fields. Completed everything, picked up the plumpkin, and now I'm just stuck. Any help DarkGod?
Having the same problem here. Tried the rod, teleport and dying but can't seem to leave the map. Was told that a portal should open after picking up that big pumpkin in the middle but no portal showed up.

I've done > on every square in the room and gotten "there is no exit from this level here" or whatever...was it a portal you just stepped into or did you have to use it like a stairway?
I've since gone back there with a new character and had no problem. One thing I noticed...in the bugged game, all the "smashed pumpkin" terrain wasn't visible (as shown in the screenshot). The information box listed the right terrain type, but it wasn't on the ground. In my later game where the portal worked properly, the pumpkins were there. I wonder if there was a problem loading the terrain and that caused the portal to not appear.
I hacked this (gives the character the "This character may have been played while not online." message in the vault) by going into HOME/.t-engine/4.0/save/character-name/level-plumpkin-1.teal (a zip file), and editing the main file. I searched for no_worldport (about 8 occurences), and replaced the following true with false in each instance. Then the rod of recall worked.
