wtf? why all of a sudden?

Am I getting errors right-clicking change levels and hitting my p key to view my talents.... the game is pretty much unplayable for no reason.

I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about, but I'm running a mostly vanilla client, and I have it set to disable all actions when the game is saving

when I enter a zone, and I push the P button or hit a directional key or something while the saving bar is going or while the zone is being loaded, the game usually automatically leaves the zone immediately after entering it then relays whatever input I did after the zone is left and it finishes saving there

for example, I push > on top of Derth, then immediately after, I push p so i can unlearn talents; the game instead saves, enters Derth, saves some more, saves again, leaves Derth, then saves some more and then I'm back on the worldmap
but sometimes, instead of going back to the worldmap, it goes to the levelup screen like I told it to instead

What class were you playing when that happened ?

I've seen similar bug when i was playing stonewarden (class from addon). At some point all class related talents lost their icons (got replaced by 'empty' icon) and i couldnt even see talent window just as you described.

Stonewarden class is available for anyone who donated so we can safely assume it requires internet connection to check if you can play it or not. My guess is something went wrong during validation and i ended up with stonewarden that has no access to stonewarden talents

It was something to do with my character file. Which was an archer. I loaded another character and no problems at all. I closed the client and the same character had the same issues. I dont run any addons or mods other than steam itself. I was just unable to right click on my character, and the < > never work to change levels anyway. I hit p to bring up my skills window and that was giving me the lua error as well.

Did your character have any event-granted skills (e.g. Sheer Badassery or the Pirate form)? I think several people were having that problem after the pirate event. Unbinding the skill might fix it, if you're able to do so. Otherwise, I have no idea.

I remember that skill, but not on that character. it was literally brand new and on it's first map
