Ah, I can see it being an out-of combat problem. Autocast-while-not-in-combat talents usually solve that for me, but that's the lazy way of fixing it. I suppose I could add some small non-combat equilibrium regen to characters with mucus, fungus or melee-summons as a quality of life fix. That could open up some of the other trees I considered too weak for regen as possiblilities too. Hmmmmm, or maybe even just give non-combat regen to anyone with wild and drop the requirement altogether. No way to regen in combat then though, maybe not.
One possible explanation for the bugs is that you found a bug in the base game or another addon that wouldn't normally be seen, because there wasn't previously any character that got those specific talents together. The game is usually pretty good about handling the wierd combinations, but there's no possible way I (or anyone) could test every single combination of talents. Or heck, sometimes strange things happen for no reason.

Re: The Randventurer Class [1.2.3]
First off, I would like to say that this is a great mod, and I greatly enjoy the variety it brings (including some truly hilarious talent combinations). Also, I'm glad that now it activates the Adventurer option in character creation
(here it comes) But... it's incompatible with the Midnight addon (adds two races and two celestial classes). It's not a major issue to switch them on/off depending on whether I'm playing a Randventurer or not, but just to let you know.
It results in a Black Screen of Death (no map, etc.) at birth, with the following error message:
Lua error: /data-midnight/talents/celestial/shooting-stars.lua:26: attempt to index local 'self' (a nil value)
at [C]: -1 __index
at /data-midnight/talents/celestial/shooting-stars.lua:26
at /data-randventurer-class/birth/classes/adventurer.lua:530
in the engine/Birther function.

Hate and Eq are great together! (With Fungus.) Just put your best 12 CD Regen infusion on auto-cast and never ever ever rest.dfinlay wrote:3. Hate and equilibrium really suck to have together (this is a feature, not a bug).
Re: The Randventurer Class [1.2.3]
- Patch 1.9 -------
- Randventurers with wild talents now have a small amount of equilibrium regeneration while resting, as well as a talent tree that lets them regenerate in combat in some way.
- Added strength requirement to wyrmic trees.
- Several more trees were given weapon styles.
- Probabilities for picking each talent tree were getting lop-sided, they've been semi-normalized.
- Randventurer now has options under Game Options->Gameplay. You can set the number of stats used or pick the weapon style of generated characters.
- Patch 1.9b -------
- Fix for Midnight addon crash, plus support for Midnight!
- Rewrote the first post too, mod has changed quite a bit since first release.
