All the wyrmic guides I saw stressed the importance of bellowing roar and the OPness of breath weapons so I wanted to see what I could do making a wil based caster wyrmic that transitioned into a Mindstar-happy brawler. No breaths except for venomous for the healing reduction, and that just for the weirdling beast mostly.
The result was pretty successful.
I was able to do a load of damage, especially when I hit 50 and got blinding speed, with almost obscene resists to nearly every element.
I'm pretty sure the game knew I used mindstars and made only greatswords drop just to spite me.
My deaths were mostly out of arrogance from holding down a direction without actually watching; it happened like 4 times climbing high peak alone (Shoulda taken draconic body!). I wish blood of life resurrected me after I sacrificed myself for the way, Atamathon sounds like he's fun.

You should never hold direction button. Explore with "Z" key (auto-exploration), in combat move with single clicks.

The main danger of High Peak is being drunk with power from playing a really strong character and impatience after a long, long game. Mix in random stair bosses and you have a recipe for disaster.
Ghoul never existed, this never happened!

Haha drunk with power and also drunk. Lesson learned. Gonna try a nightmare run without using the arrow keys, thanksjotwebe wrote:The main danger of High Peak is being drunk with power from playing a really strong character and impatience after a long, long game.
