Weapons that seem a version back?

#1 Post by Dracos »

Oozing Heart - Grants Ooze Spit, which I'm guessing by its near identical setup, but slightly more powerful framework, is supposed to be Slime Spit now? It matches the older writeups on Oozemancer, but isn't anywhere to be found on a 1.2.3 oozemancer.

Eyal's Will - Also grants Ooze Split + talent which should probably be slime spit. Would be neat, though now leaves me with 2 Ooze Spits and 1 Slime Spit...which is probably pretty crazy.

At least, it looks like they're calling into talents that have gotten renamed/rebalance, but if this is how it's supposed to work, that's plausible too.

Since I'm here:
Oozeblade claims to do Slime type damage. Suspect that means Nature type damage, and that's a typo rather than an ability specific damage category :)

No, Slime is in fact a damage type. Descriptions are generated automatically, so it cannot be a typo. It is nature damage that also slows the target by 15%.

Ah, interesting though unclear. It's Nature Slow in many places for what I think is the same variation? Also it's the only thing on the entire oozemancer set that gives it, which is kind of strange but I suppose correct.

here I'll add to OP
Warmaster Gnarg's Murderblade: iirc adds cp Technique/Two-handed Maiming
this tree was removed from the game in 1.2.0

Ring of the War Master
adds .3 cp to Technique/Two-Handed Maiming
this tree was removed from the game in 1.2.0

both items also give, iirc, the same cp to Technique/Two-handed Weapons as they give to Technique/Two-handed Maiming, but the only class that has access to it is adventurers, so at least that still has some use
