achivments/ unlocks gone. please help

not sure where to post this so posting it in bugs.

please help this is the second update thats wiped them. first time i made an account after. from update 11 to 12. that was my bad. then from 12 12.1 i spent over a month re unlocking every thing. both undead races, necromancer and mind slayer. i had to re download the client for update 13, so lost my saves.no big deal there, so i go to remake my necromancer and its gone! all i have are cursed, archemage and brawler, with no races >.< havent checked lore yet with fortress but comon. i dont want to re unlock everything again! and hunt down all 4 lore again. comon

i should also note that i have the charcter log things in my profile. not sure what they are called. i tend to not pay attention to them. but i mean i can see my ghoul necro who died, and my living skele brawler. brawlers unlocked necro isnt, neither is skele or ghoul. i dont know if you can see em in my profile or not...

Changing versions shouldn't have any effect on unlocks and saves, as they are stored in a completely separate location.

If you are using the online profile, you need to give it a moment to connect to the server and sync on the main menu.
Once the news is loaded it should be good to go.

well if what you said is true i would never of made this post <_< . seriously any one know how to fix this? or can a mod do something. i mean unlocking necromancer alone is a pain in the rear. and ive had to unlock it 2 times already.

Its easy to correct, but I think we need to work out how it is breaking.

If the unlocks happened in the past three weeks, they won't be stored in the online profiles (see the discussion about server overload and missing achievements -- this applies to unlocks as well).

This might not be true for steam. I'm not sure...

yeah that makes sense. this account is 3 weeks 6 days old. all my older unlocks are in there ( cursed. arche mage. and brawler. first things i unlocked before i got a job for 6 days a week) the rest i un locked after that week end. so that makes sense. my online profile only lists ccharacters but not the achivments and unlocks. so far i lost skele ton, ghoul necromancer. yeek and mind slayer. summoner ( whichi think i re unlocked) and poisons. oh and storm talent tree. i didnt unlock any thing else i remember . if that helps at all

youve gotta be kidding me. when a game screws up people friggen fix it. this is why you dont force web integration into an offline game. i shouldnt have to re unlock every thing every godamned time there is a significant patch or update. nor am i the only person who is probably having this issue. this is the sole reason i am not going to become a donateer. i refuse to give a dime to a creator who dosent give a crap about his players. esp for something that would take all of 20 seconds to fix.

i make 12 bucks an hour at my job. if some one cant take even a minute out of their day, i fail to see why i should give them anything. which is sad as i had recomended this game to friends, as one of the best rogue likes ive ever played. and even enjoy the very old orginal one. now its lik whats the point. every time i do anything in this game it gets erased.

You can just edit the unlocks file.

This is an issue with the server, not the game itself, so complaining about "not taking a minute out of their day" is untrue.
Especially with DarkGod having a normal work on top of all the things he does for ToME constantly.
And with the fact that most things take longer than a minute
