Bulwark fighting his shade. Not enough BOOMBOOM pls help

HI all. I just got into the Far East. Im a lvl 30 bulwark who hasnt died yet. the enemies Im fighting are 9 to ten levels over me, but my sustain is crazy good. Super tanky. i got into the crypt and beat the boss and all that is left is my shade. Full defensive passive and runes, including reflect shield. I enable last stand and go to town but we both dont do enough damage to kill each other. my sustain abilities prevent me from needing to waste turns on healing so im doing everything i can to kill him. i get him to 50% and he uses a regen rune while his shield is up and goes back to full. There is also no way to get out of the room he is in so i think im going to have to let him kill me. Bummer because my dwarf bulwark feels like a tank in the truest sense of the word. i havent used a regen rune in quite some time. i dont know if there is anything i can do, so i was hoping you pros had some advice. I would really like to get out alive because ulric deserves better than a death by some wannabe ulric. its really a pitiful sight to see though. appreciate the help fellas.

Rod of Recall should get you out if it's truly hopeless

Which is to say...

Try to stun him, and keep laying on the stun until he's dead. And if you can't, then Rod of Recall out. Bulwarks (and other high-defense classes) can have it really rough there.
