[1.2.2] Tirakai's Maul duplicates gem stacks

#1 Post by theshim »

Okay, so I just found a hilarious bug.

The new artifact, Tirakai's Maul, has a socket that you can stick a gem in, and the maul gets more powerful with better gems and has funky elemental effects. If you put a new gem in when it already has one, it takes the old one out.

...or at least, that's what it's supposed to do. What happens is that instead of giving you one gem back, it duplicates the stack of those gems in your inventory. Did you have 10 topaz? Now you have two stacks of 10.

Gonna have to report this one, but just imagine all the merchant randarts...

Upon further testing, it seems to be doing some weird stuff. It will not only delete the duplicate stack after a while (seems to do it on zone/level change) but also deletes your original stack of that gem type.

Haven't been able to test too much, but this item needs some looking at.

Oh, and Tirakai's Maul also has no weapon mastery, so the damage is always pretty bad. Shame, it's a cool weapon. :(
