Alchemist Quest question
I know that completing one of them removes a random reward from another Alchemist.
Does having a reward 'selected' (that is, quest given'), 'lock it' from being the one randomly chosen?
So, for example, if I have an open question for the Hermit (class points), can finishing another alchemist's request eliminate the class point quest or is it 'locked' since I have it open?

You should always get the one you want most FIRST, because otherwise it's at risk.killter wrote:So, for example, if I have an open question for the Hermit (class points), can finishing another alchemist's request eliminate the class point quest or is it 'locked' since I have it open?
Re: Alchemist Quest question
Thanks for the answer.
That's a shame, though, because my most needed one is the only ingredient I'm missing. (I have the other 3 quests complete).
I can't for the life of me find a Vial of Fire Wyrm Saliva anywhere.

Re: Alchemist Quest question
That ingredient is fairly rare, although you'll be near-guaranteed to find it later in the game during Charred Scar. Alternatively keep a look out for Vaults with lava tiles, those are dangerous but always have Fire Wyrms. You can always try your luck farming adventurer parties too.
Re: Alchemist Quest question
Gorbat pride is also a good place to "find" wyrm thingies.
I've seen wyrms in Daikara too, although they are rare.

The random quest Lost Land of Poosh has Wyrms too.
Re: Alchemist Quest question
Is Gorbat Pride on the main continent? The wiki page on it doesn't give a location... I only have Dreadfell left on the main continent, unless I've missed something.Mankeli wrote:Gorbat pride is also a good place to "find" wyrm thingies.

Can I find wyrms using the farportal? I beat one farportal mission by the skin of my teeth, a little wary to farm there but the rewards might be nice.
Re: Alchemist Quest question
you can find anything in the farportals but chances aren't that great. it might be a fire wyrm, might be a muti-hued wyrm, anything,
and they will not be solo. one my character recently visited 7 farportals, i think i met... hm, 2 or 3 fire wyrms, including one of the bosses
anyway farportals are very risky, some of them are easy while others are nightmare

Re: Alchemist Quest question
Gorbat will become available a little while after you do dreadfell.
Re: Alchemist Quest question
All those nice alchemist upgrades... so close yet so far. At least if I survive going East I'll have a pile of them waiting for me to unlock. I can afford a couple far portals so I'll try that first, I guess.
