Auto-explore improvements

Auto-explore improvements
An option to have auto-explore work so that you have to hold down the keybind, and adjustable speed (turns per second). It would also be nice to have auto-explore stop when you pick up items. It could be customizable so that it stops only when you pick up items of certain types and/or tier/ego levels, a simple (and easy to reach) UI to flag what items you are interested in.
Re: Auto-explore improvements
I've got a few ideas here, all of varying degrees of nit-picky, but they'd make it go smoother I think:
The "stop when picking up lore" shouldn't trigger unless the lore actually pops up.
Recall portals shouldn't be considered "special" terrain. You're probably not auto-exploring when you have an escort, and once the escort is gone the recall portal doesn't matter in the least.
After beating a farportal boss, either only drop one exit portal, or just don't treat the portals as special terrain, so it doesn't randomly break every several seconds.
Once you stop for something special once, that tile should no longer be marked as special. Just in general, special terrain should only be something that you can actually interact with in some fashion.
In the alternate maze, either have it avoid the pit squares, or just not trigger them if it does contact or something. Even making the default choice stay rather than jump would help some, but avoiding them altogether would be preferable.
The...I forget the specific term. Minor events? The little aura-like places like Font of Life, either no longer need to have a lower priority, or at least, if they contain items, the "get items" priority should be higher than the "avoid auras" priority. I think this aversion was added back when these things could have direct effects like status penalties immediately on entry that would break autoexplore, but now that they don't, there's no real need to avoid them.
Auto-explore should break if you detect an enemy with infravision/heightened senses. Tentatively, I'd say "also telepathy, unless you have confirmed that you don't have line of effect" although I'm not sure on that one. On a similar though off-topic note, it'd also be nice for when the talent targeting cursor jumps to the nearest target, it only chooses one where you have line of effect.
Would have to be an option, but something so that resting/auto-explore doesn't break for trivial damage (like, any damage below your life regen, as long as your life is above 95% or something).
Another one that would have to be an option is setting a minimum range for breaking auto-explore on detecting an enemy, defaulting to "any". Obviously, if they attack you that would break it regardless.

Re: Auto-explore improvements
Yeah items would be great. I'm often in the situation where I have new gear which I somehow don't bother to put on until right after I kill a bunch of dudes who were ~50 steps away from the new gear.
Fonts of Life are stop-points because you might want to rest there, I guess. They enhance recovery of Life and Psi and Equilibrium.
