More Tales of Maj'Eyal - New quests and zones.

New start zone for Shaloren, cos the Scintillating Caves is a bit mean.
Explore the Echoing Cliffs and investigate the strange lights and disappearances that happen in the area.

New zone for Thaloren, extending the Madness of the Ages quest.
You are sent to the Tree of Ages for wisdom about what is corrupting the forest.

Yeah, I forgot it starts at 0 not 1.
I made a few other errors and DarkGod doesn't like my file layout, so I'll update it after I get some feedback about balance.

Nice add-on.

Some comments:
  • The normal enemies are perhaps a little too easy while the boss is a little too hard for starting characters. Perhaps start the Dull Crystals with a little more health or a few of them already with an absorbed Lost Soul. I'm not sure about what to do with the boss.
  • If you don't start as a Shaloren and visit Elvala you can barely see the new zone. Perhaps a better tile or moving the zone a bit would help.
  • The last line of the introduction ("After days of travel, you have found the caves and entered it. What will you find there...?" ) should be changed.
  • By swapping place with a Lost Soul while a tought form was adjacent my character got cloned - I think that this is an old bug.
  • A themed artifact would be nice: Perhaps a piece of the crystal could be used to imbue another item type. Or it could drop a summoning item like Crystal Shard or Spectral Cage.

I couldn't find a more visible tile that was suitable.

I've changed the last line of the introduction.

Character cloning is an existing bug, I'm innocent!

I haven't decided on an artifact yet, so ideas are welcome.

The next zone will be an extension to Madness of the Ages.

Updated:
Fixed a few things.
Rebalanced enemies.
Added fixed art drop.
Still haven't worked out how to make the lost souls wander at random.

Finally got around to finishing the Thaloren zone.

New zone extends Madness of the Ages and won't appear until you finish the first two dungeons.

I really like the Thaloren Zone.
Somehow I ended up making the tree guy at the end angry, though. I'm not sure how.

Maybe add a few reaver-ish elf enemies, or something? I felt like the base area could use like one more enemy type.
Overall it was really fun, though.
Addons: Arcane Blade Tweaks, Fallen Race, Monk Class, Weapons Pack
Currently working on Elementals. It's a big project, so any help would be appreciated. :)
