Thanks. Do you know of any easy way to create non-artifact objects in cheat mode?

I've uploaded some fixes. Don't know if it will cover everything.

+ Shields (damage, temporal, etc.) will play a sound when they expire on a character you are controlling. (I've not noticed my antimagic shield going down one too many times.) I've included a couple versions of the sound, including silence.
+ Font size may be set to anything from 8 to 36 points by entering the point size rather than a label.
+ Found the Derth eagle's beak and shoved a sock in it. It should obey the 'Ambient Sound' config now.
+ The Crystal Focus, Crystal Heart, Telos Crystal, and other one-use items no longer appear in the "usable items" hotkey list.
+ Added "Blood of Life" notation to the character sheet if you have it flowing in your veins. When playing multiple characters, I'll forget who's had it and who hasn't.

When trying to upload to Steam, the upload bar just waves back and forth for ages and never finishes. You'll have to update manually for now. If you have my Auto-explore addon, you'll need to update that as well for compatibility.

+ "Use item" dialog fits around item names and no longer pushes off the edge of the screen.
+ Screenshot hotkey enabled on Inventory screen.

Still unable to update to Steam.

+ "No Hiding" now an option rather than always on.

hey
i might be stupid but i'm having trouble getting this to work. added the mod to game/addons, it shows up as 'auto/active' from the addons menu. when entering the game with an existing character i dont see any changes, nor do i get any extra options in game options.
when trying to start a new character, the game stops on 100% on the first load screen. what have i missed?

The game won't retroactively add or remove an addon to/from existing characters. You'd have to go in and edit the character's desc.lua file. This will break the character for some addons, but since this one only changes the UI, I haven't had any problems doing that.

As for the screen freezing at 100%, can you look at your te4_log.txt in the game's root directory and post any errors here? You should be able to just skip to the end of the file to find them after hitting Alt-4 to quit out of ToME.

Not sure if it's this addon, but I think the class talents on the talent page aren't affected by the font size (but everything else is).
Addons: Arcane Blade Tweaks, Fallen Race, Monk Class, Weapons Pack
Currently working on Elementals. It's a big project, so any help would be appreciated. :)

As in, I set my font size rather small, and the class page still has large font size.

Ah, gotchya. I realized that a couple of days ago and retooled it. Are you on the latest version? I also fixed the spacing for when the golem uses it.

would also like to point out that this page http://te4.org/games/addons/tome/marson-ui is slightly confusing for someone new to the game and its mods.
its not really clear where the actual download is by just looking at the page, its a list that looks like it could very well be separate mods or fixes. i understand you aim at describing what you've fixed, but its still kinda confusing :D.
maybe renaming them like 'marson's ui v0.5, marson's ui v0.6' etc would dispel this confusion.

also, i got some new ideas for the inventory screen over in my ui feedback thread, maybe you can make them a reality? :wink:

Yeah, I had the same response when I first downloaded some addons. Versions numbers would be a good idea.
