Grabbed it on a whim, and can't wait to give this a try. I'll be sure to post any feedback here. :3

Playing a Treant changes the Steamtech UI equipment border from a light brownish-orange/whatever to blue. Tested it to confirm. Using the default Treant appearance changes it, while custom tiles Treants are fine.

Edit: Seems to be something between the nullpack class addon and the treant one that causes it. Treant has the proper color standalone.

This is weird behavior because I'm not superloading anything. Maybe it has to do with the fact that my addon isn't registered on steam, or maybe because mixing addons does weird things. I will continue to look into it.

Do you guys like the 'derpy' look of the treants currently or would you like to see the tile updated at some point?

I like the derpy look, although it'd be nice if you could somehow tweak it so weapons ended up roughly in the hands, instead of floating around the elbows like shields do. :3

That said, the bug is ultimately minor. Only bugs me out of an innate sense of OCDness. Got me to try different UI setups, which is nice.

Yeah floaty weapons are on my todo list, I'm just too lazy with graphics :lol: .

It has it's own charm, but seeing the floating pommel of a sword is kinda weird. Still, I like the current design. It's loveably derpy. :3

Boulder throw seems to use mind crit instead of physical crit, is that deliberate?

Oh, and I like the current art :)

The talent was taken from the Boulder Throwers in Diakara (P.S. It's really fun to bully them with their own skill :twisted: ), It would make more sense to make it physical since you are throwing a large physical object.

Gigantic Growth has a Life Cost listed, around 1800 life. I keep getting messages in the log that I don't have enough life to use gigantic growth.

Version 0.1 released; Fixed Gigantic Growth costing life (For those of you curious, I was adding temporary values to life_rating instead of just changing life_rating directly, the game doesn't like temporary life i guess :wink: ).
Graphics are updated so that; the Treant's arms are symmetrical,fixed the floating weapons, removed glove visuals.
Throw Boulder still uses mind crit.

Go have fun guys!!! :D

Attacked as a Heavy Treant(With vorpal bunny), got endless LUA errors. Couldn't even report because more kept popping up every few seconds. :/

Not sure if it's Treants or one of my other mods, but I figured I'd letcha know. :3

I'll look into it. Can you go back to the previous version and try playing again might that be its not save compatible.

Gonna try removing the bunny buff first. If I had to guess, it's treants not working right with the vorpal bunny buff, since the luabomb only happens with it. That said, I haven't updated yet, so I'll do that now to be safe(Haven't been up long, sorta missed the update). x3


Edit: updated to 0.1, attacking elite snake as a vorpal bunny still bombs. Gonna try removing the buff and see if it works.

Edit2: Disabled vorpal bunny, still luabombs when I attack this elite snake. Gonna try to grab it's stats to see if it has anything weird.

Nothing seems too weird here, so Iunno.

Edit3: Used Boulder Throw rather then melee it. Snake died, no luabombs. Much confused.


Edit4: Apparently the update broke my existing Treant into having no model. :P

Can you unequip all your items, starting with Timekeeper and systematically check. I'm probably more confused than you are right now and any info you can give will be very very helpful.

Not too surprised about the treant model disappearing as I did alter it. Generally continuing saves after updating anything can produce very buggy behavior like that.

Oh, ended up deleting him, sorry. I asked the irc and I kinda assumed it was buggy behavior that happens when you update an existing character. I did remove everything but my sword and shield first, though. Was just a floating sword and shield. x3

I'll try making a new one and seeing if the problem persists, though.
