Dual wielding longswords?

#1 Post by Narry »

Hi and greetings from a newbie!

My question is this: my Thaloren Shadowblade character has been lucky enough to find two *excellent* longswords. Yay!
But the problem is she can't dual-wield them. :-(
She can dual-wield either of them and a dagger or two daggers and she more than exceeds the stat and talent requirements for these weapons. But no... when going to inventory and choosing wear/wield for one of these longswords, she automatically takes off the other.
Is there a rule concerning this or is she doing something wrong?

Yeah, you can't offhand wield a long sword, waraxe, or mace by default. Only characters with the skill "Corrupted Strength" can, which is currently exclusive to the Reaver class (which must be unlocked).

Thanks for such a fast reply. Guess I'll stick to a long sword and dagger combo then. Choices, choices...

Or you can go with Adventurer if you've beaten the game.

Most people recommend going with dual wielding daggers so you don't have to invest in both weapon mastery skills.
And it was such a good idea...
